I wouldn't be expecting a reply. Got my twin stick install finished up yesterday, finally.

Not my bronco but my Brother in laws. I started the long arduous task of polishing the heavily oxidized and dirty paint! Coming out great so far but there is a long way to go!

He picked it up pretty cheap. It has a rebuilt 302, rebuilt np435, rebuilt Dana 20, 4.11s, 5 new wheels and tires, new wh 3.5"suspension lift, almost no rust at all and going to be decent paint.

Ah yeah. Another block Bronco. Gotta love it. Weird, but I like the look of an original paint black Bronco over one that has gone under the knife and had a fresh coat sprayed on it.

Apparently there is something wrong with my eyes. Frau Castle, glancing over at the screen immediately says "Oh, I like that blue."

Changed the oil and took it out for a spin. My new to me Gunni-1406 is working like a champ on the truck. Surge is gone and it will actually idle now.

Did you rebuild it? Glad to hear its treating you well.

I had most of it except blocking off the passage between the two bowls.

Rebuild? Nah. Just ped it on. Seriously. Filled the bowls and it fired right up on the first crank. Smooth idle too. Last few days it has cranked right up on the first turn of the key too. No pumping.

I'll get around to rebuilding it, but first I have other things to tend to. Like that leaky rear main seal.

Pulled the cage Addicted Off-Road built for me last summer so I can prime and paint it, got my Tuffy glove box installed and filled it up with gas.

Drove it around all day...

Drove it to work like everyday, but today it was happy, it received a bunch of compliments as I entered and left the parking lot at the Norris/Penrose events center for a monster truck show, I met 75DBE in the parking lot and there were some badarse broncos representing in the tuff truck competition, one bronco2 painted like the general lee with coilovers and pretty much a prerunner suspension and a healthy engine, and an EB with a nasty 347 stroker and one balsy driver. Had a great time, and much to my surprise the wife loved it and now wants a monster truck of her own! Lol

And of course every person asked why I didn't take mine in the arena, I explained, I have to drive it to work on Monday, can't afford to roll it, oh almost forgot one of the only Chevy tuff trucks snapped his whole front axle in half upon landing, I had to laugh when I saw the pumpkin of that 10 bolt hit the ground

Got da front axle shafts installed and crunched a car a little bit more.

Where you getting all these cars to crush. I want to crush some!

We should try to find some junk cars and set them up in a club members lot. Unfortunately wouldn't be able to have group over at our shop crushing cars due insurance issues. Or else I would say come on over.

So Zach and I got the brakes and shocks and springs done on the 75DBE yesterday and today I dropped the rear axle to do the new 3" lift blocks -- until I can afford to get new leaf springs. Got new U-bolts from Pred on Friday but they ended up being too long. That said, all is ready to go once I exchange those out.
