4H won't engage
I'm not able to shift into 4H, but 4L seems to work just fine. I recently added a 2" body lift could this be the culprit? My current thought is the shifter can't go back far enough to engage 4H. What should I look at first?
I hope to get this corrected before Sunday!

Re: 4H won't engage
A 2" BL could have moved the body panels up enough to interfere with your shift pattern. First thing I would do is pull up your shifter boot from the floor, pull the shifter back to the 4H position, and see if the shifter is making contact on the back side of that opening. If it is, you might need to do a little trimming to get the full throw.

Re: 4H won't engage
No worries. I'm thinking that if you aren't interested in doing any cutting, you might be able to pull your shifter out, heat it up, and bend it a little to clear that spot. Not a huge fan of BLs (nothing against your choice), so I haven't run in to this issue yet.

Re: 4H won't engage
I'm also not a huge fan of body lifts. The body lift was a quick fix to fit the EFI intake under the stock hood. I wanted to keep the stock hood and need to be able to close the hood. Plus I can fit some 35's under the Bronco with less worry. =)
Thanks again for the advice!

Re: 4H won't engage
I removed the boot and the shifter is resting on the frame where it needs to go back into 4H. I'm either going to need to cut a notch or bend the shifter. I'm cool with easy fixes.
