Need engine for 77 302 v8. Current one went boom...
I have a 77 with original 302. I need to find another engine and have it installed by someone. I can drive it better than most and fix it with wire and duct tape, but otherwise out of my league...
Any thoughts/recommendations would be appreciated.

Might want to talk to RJLougee. Last I spoke with him he had a complete 302 he was trying to sell. And I know he does work too. But he is in Falcon/Peyton.

Do you have the space and / or tools to do it at your place?

I should also add that I have a motor, stock 302 that is .30 over. If you have the space, just not the tools and know how we can work something out.

I'd be happy to help, depending on scheduling. Seems like a great way to learn how to R&R an engine.

No shop needed, and I should have a trailer soon. I like Justin's idea of getting a few folks together and we can knock it out at my place. With Willem's help I knocked out a engine swap in 12 hours, I'm guessing we could cut that down with a couple of Bronco brothers helping out. What do you think?

Depending on when this happens I have a trailer with a winch we can use too.

mintmobile, what dates work for you? Sounds like we have the means to make this happen.
Pm me and we can talk about the motor.
