Then the 2nd through the 4th of November is the first pheasant hunt of the season. And very shortly after waterfowl. Who else is hunting this year. Booger had a cow 50yards in front of him this morning. Wasn't able to crack off a shot. My elk wallows were dried,spent some time up high 12000 and found tracks on north dark timber, but being solo I tracked a fat black bear once the snow fell. Found some really killer bear country, aspens sracthed 40' in the air, the last day i tracked 2 more for a 1/2 mile.Tried calling a little wierd solo, 4 set ups and only called in cow elk? Anyone want one 3rd season?
