I think I am going to try to do some designing and need a few measurements since I can't get to my bronco right now.

1. Height from top of frame to bottom of coil spring bucket where spring contacts bucket.

2. Height from that same spot on the bucket to the bottom of the inner fender.

3. horizontal measurement from outside of frame to center of coil bucket.

Is the frame 100% level where the coil bucket welds to the frame?

EDIT - What is the OD of the springs. Not an individual coil, but from outside to outside. Probably 5-6"??

It's no problem. My dad may get to it on mine too, but I have a couple years before anything will happen anyway!

I need to amend the first post to include one more important measurement.

Look what I found in my email this morning...

1 = 11"

2 = 24" - that is more than I expected (which is a good thing)

3 = 3"

Springs are 5.5" O.D.

My shocks are 24.5" c-c at ride height. (Non stock radius arms and F-250 shock mounts)

Raising my spring mounts up 4.5" would allow me to run 8" springs with the same net lift!

Hmmmm, maybe we need a group buy on custom springs.

6.5" (with winch) is the highest lift I see available on some of the vendor pages. Moving the mounts up 3" would be ok I guess. Need the shock mount higher, but that's no biggie.

I'm actually semi-serious about that. I can think of at least 5 guys that would be interested, which would likely make a difference in price. Who winds springs? Deaver is the one that comes to mind for me, not sure if Alcan does as well.

I know of a few guys running their custom built for your specs coils I believe in a 6.5" variant, look up Craig Stewart on my Facebook page, he's running some, there are some videos on YouTube of his way twisted out of shape, I spoke with him or Robert Warke and he said he's really happy with how they ride

Do the Battlement Fab upper coil buckets have enough adjustment to take an 8" coil and end up with a 3"-4" lift?

I think so, but I'd have to measure, ill check later tonight
