 check engine light What is the best way to wire the check engine light. I have a wire from my harness, would like to use the brake light. What is the best way to do this?

Re: check engine light I believe I still have mine (somewhere ). I guess my question is what wire to where and so forth. I figure the harness wire goes to the light but what grounds it.

Re: check engine light Computer supplies the ground for the light at pin 17. Power to the light is constant with key on.

Re: check engine light As I recall the RJM harness provided the wire to pin 17 but you need to provide the +12V wire to the light.

Re: check engine light My rjm provided both wires, pin 17 and pin 37 or 57 or power from relay or something like that
