saginaw pump pushing out air? bleed more?

 saginaw pump pushing out air? bleed more? So I started up my rig tonight and when I shut it down the saginaw steering pump hissed air. I have a cooler, ram , steering box. Is it just purging air?

Keep purging. You may have to resort to a vacuum purge?

Re: saginaw pump pushing out air? bleed more? The pump will do that until you get all the air bled out of the system. Did you jack the front up and cycle the steering wheel, etc... to get all the initial air out? Basically, the system has to be bled like brakes do to get all the air out.
If you've done a good job getting all the air out, then continued cavitation will indicate an issue.
