A customer/friend "makes" you think outside the box and build something different? It is good and bad I think. The good being that it is completely different than everything else out there, the bad being it causes more work for me as now I am building one for myself as well! I have a customer/friend(new member here!) that wants an "original" front winch bumper. So I had to come up with something different than my usual offerings as they are kind of "standard" looking. Well I came up with a new design unlike any bumper I have ever seen before! I like it so much I just spent the evening bending up a lot more tubing to build my personal bumper similarly! I will try to get some pictures posted in the next day or 2...I seem to have misplaced the memory card for my camera. Most of you guys may not like the tube bumpers as they look more "pre-runner" but I think this one changes it up a bit!

I'm usually a day behind on the outside the box thinking. I had an idea for a flathead Bronco only to find out there is a build going on over at Classic Broncos. I was thinking FE, found a few of those. Wanted to chop the sides off my old hard top and make a safari style, been done. What's left?

I'm looking for a front bumper. It would depend on price though. Just as I'm finishing paying of last year's wedding for a daughter, another just told me she's engaged. Someone should have told me how expensive it is to be the bride's father, I'd have had more boys.

I just picked up my Front and Rear Bumpers from Utah and they are Pre-Runner style. I am going to need to make my own Rock Skis and will do them a Pre-Runner Style as well. One of my favorite things about this club is that everyone's truck is unique. There are no two trucks the same and everyone has their own individual style. Cannot wait to see pics of your ground breaking bumper, Crawler!

Looking fwd to seeing it, I love to see new ideas and then smashing them up into something new.

...winch and lights get here on the 12th.

It's doneish!! Still needs a fairlead mount, paint, lights and a winch. Winch will be on it tomorrow as well as a fairlead mount when Ryan(rtreads) brings his Bronco over to get it test fit and winch mounted. He will be taking it home to add his lights and paint. I am really happy with how it turned out! Good clearance, stout, aggressive looking, different and good protection!

Nice. I like how it is different. I think round tube bumpers in standard design are ok but I think this will look great. Now I know why you said you have to build one for yourself. Good work

Love the lines and integration of using fewer tubes w/the bends in great spots, the lower tubes that mirror each other are cool.
