I'm pretty sure my clutch is toast but I'm lookin for advice on how to verify it's bad or other factors for clutch chatter, abrupt shifts when clutch is let out, tc is popping out. Have a Luk clutch in it but I was running 3.55 gears and 37s before my build. All The SYMPTOM started after build. 4.88 gears, new drive shafts, motor mounts, bushings. Help

Do the high gear test. Put the front of the bronco against a immovable object in high gear, let out the clutch peddle and it should stall if the clutch is good.

Hmmm one potential problem sorted, now back to the clutch

I think the chatter wad caused by the spring
Put it in 4th and it stalls.. I'm beginning to believe the throttle linkage is to messed up it not smooth and with the np435 it's all exaggerated.

Do you have EFI? And what throttle linkage do you have?

Howell tbi stock linkage. The truck is just not smooth. It's hard to explain

I remember going from an old carb'ed rig to EFI and the throttle was hard to control. It was either idling or full throttle, nothing in between. I fixed it a little different way, but Viper has a great way of doing it. However, TBI is another animal, so I'm not sure if it'd help ya.
