Ask my Dad. I forgot what we put on the 74. I dont remember if it was BC's, or Tom's complete kit. It was the 3 turn box to replace the stock 6turn box. It even came with the saginaw pump and bracket.

I wanna say this was the Kit we put on. But we did replace the factory PS gear with this kit.

If your going to replace the steering gear, does anyone know if there is a kit available that includes the 4x4x2 box and adaptor plate? It might be a great time to upgrade to that box.

i bought the 4x4x2 kit with the saginaw from west coast broncos 4 years ago and i can say that its was pretty easy to install, and works great, and is much better, by great lengths then the factory bronco steering, and i had a pump crap out on me this year and they sent me out a brand new one for the cost of a flat rate shipping box, trusting i'd send the old one back, as i did, and i couldn't be happier, they're a great group of guys and they stand behind everything they sell and so far between them, wildhorses and jeffs bronco graveyard, west coast broncos has had the best customer service and support by far

I used a borgenson box, its was fairly cheap and no modification needed . Toms bronco has everything else.

I went through a bunch of iterations on paper before I decided on my setup. I was able to find a '76 Bronco gear box on eBay that was newly rebuilt and being sold by West Coast Broncos. They have a guy that actually scouts out all around CA for these boxes and then sells them to West Coast who in turn rebuild and sell to customers. Sometimes you can find them on their web site, other times on eBay when they are trying to get rid of them.

I bought the gear box, saginaw pump and hoses from them (came in a kit with all the hardware and brackets) and got a new lower steering shaft from WH. The only other items needed were the Alt. and fan pulleys and the Hut had them in Billet for a good price. The entire setup bolted right in with no modifications. I did find out later that the '70 pitman arm I had uses a slightly larger hole and Viperwolf was kind enough to swap me his '76 which tightened things up.

I realize this isn't an all-inclusive kit setup but it worked (and it working) great. Looking back, if I had seen the Tom's kit mentioned above, I probably would have gone for it.
