 CCW Class, Feb 9th I know there are countless Concealed Carry classes out there but a good one is hard to find, so I thought I would pass this along. Kevin Lambeth does an excellent job and knows the laws inside and out with ties to Anthony J Fabian who help write Colorado's CWP legislation. If you have been thinking about taking a class this one might be for you and your family. Next class is Feb 9th!

Re: CCW Class Good info! Check with your county if you have military experience. With my Marine Corps DD214 I was able to get one without going through the class. Still have to do the background and pay processing but may save you a few bucks

Re: CCW Class, Feb 9th Very true...thats why I like this class, he leaves the shooting portion out. This keep the cost down for those who don't feel like they need the addtional time at the range in a class type setting. That being said, I was floored by some of the legal discussion in the class. It opened my eyes to what is legal when it comes to the use of deadly force.
I though I knew the law, I could not have been more wrong.

Re: CCW Class, Feb 9th Luckily, Colorado honors the Utah Concealed Weapon permit, but this sounds like a great class - similar to Utah without the Shooting portion.

Re: CCW Class, Feb 9th I've been thinking about this for a couple of years. My dad has his, and my brother just got his after some tweaker beat the piss out of his work van one night at a 7-11. So I'm gonna be giving this some serious thought.

I emailed Kevin for some more info. I wasnt aware that once you become a resident you have to reapply....what a load of govt. crap.
