I would like to get a hood that will let some air flow in.
Any suggestions?
I have the original hood on there now.

An idea. My cowl induction hood is solid (no vents), however I have cut holes in someone elses' in the past.

I guess my question is do they make a big difference as far as heat and air flow?

I cut some holes in the side of my hood bubble a few years ago, and I think it makes a big difference. I thought about adding the louvers, like JD showed, but never have, I think the bubble holes are enough. There is a cloth-like product called Frogskin, that will help keep snow & water from coming through, but allow airflow. You can find it at snowmobile shops.

Actually, when you are driving down the road, they are pushing hot air out. You can see the fabric pooch out a bit.

Pulled the scoop of my 70 mustang because I need to run a boss scoop on that to fit everything under the hood. . So that scoop is making it over to the bronco.

Yes he is I bought some 3 speed manual transmissions from him and was showing me the stuff he does. Very impressive

I could certainly feel heat coming out of my vents, but it never solved my vapor locking issue.

You can also cut some holes in your inner fenders and that can offer some good success too. Even just "louver" them would help.
