Willem recently won 1st Place at the state level DECA convention and has been invited to the national level. We have started up a donation page on the gofundme web site (http://www.gofundme.com/ndllng) to help with the cost. What's DECA?

Officially it's an association of high school and college students and teachers of marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing sales and service. The organization prepares leaders and entrepreneurs for careers and education in marketing, finance, hospitality, management, and other business areas.

Willem has really shined this year in school and in this organization, he has put a lot of time and effort into being successful.

Deca is awesome for the young ones. Next time anybody drives by Davies Chuck wagon Diner on West Colfax, Dave Davies was our Deca teacher at Jefferson High (1981) We ran the school store and he taught us valuable business lessons. Congrats Kinder, I'll check this tonight.

Congrats Willem! I took a Marketing class my senior year of HS and competed in DECA as well. It was a class I also did very well at and was a big reason I went on to major in Marketing at CU Boulder. I made it to the state level but never to Nationals, so I know how hard it is.

Now-- tell him to put some of that Marketing to test and get on here himself and self-promote!!
