 Front Disc Brake Hub question... Hey guys,
What is the difference between the hub/rotor assy. for the '76-86 VS. '95-96?
Can you make them ('95-96) work, or does it have to do with the automatic electric 4x4???/size

also...on the '89-93 they come with an ABS ring, do you leave that on or tear it off if you use these? are these the same as the early ones?

Re: Front Disc Brake Hub question... Getting ready to do the Chevy Disc brake swap. (Dana 30 up front) I have both spindles, both caliper mounts.
I need the calipers and Hub/Disc assembly.
Any suggestions on where to get the cheapest ones?
I want to go New as opposed to used.

1972 Sport, 302, 3 speed with old school Duff floor shifter, T shift Dana 20 with JB Fab twin stick, 4.11 gears with Trac-loc, Lincoln hydroboost, Chevy disc conversion, WH gas lift gate shock kit, 33" Duratrac tires on slots and about 2.5" of lift, Stroppe installed: bumper braces, dual shocks on all four corners, GM power steering, trans cooler mount, auto shift column, rollbar.

Re: Front Disc Brake Hub question... The hub /rotor assembly is expensive brand new. I got one from Ed the Ford parts guy for $20 and it had a good rotor on it. All of the hub assemblies through the early 90's have the same part numbers when I checked. Just went through this last fall. New the assemblies were north of $100. Hope that helps. Obviously new is just simple. :)
