Front Disc Brake Hub question...
Hey guys, What is the difference between the hub/rotor assy. for the '76-86 VS. '95-96? Can you make them ('95-96) work, or does it have to do with the automatic electric 4x4???/size Thanks, Mike
also...on the '89-93 they come with an ABS ring, do you leave that on or tear it off if you use these? are these the same as the early ones?

Re: Front Disc Brake Hub question...
Getting ready to do the Chevy Disc brake swap. (Dana 30 up front) I have both spindles, both caliper mounts. I need the calipers and Hub/Disc assembly.
Any suggestions on where to get the cheapest ones?
I want to go New as opposed to used. Thanks

Re: Front Disc Brake Hub question...
I wound up buying calipers at Advance and hubs/rotors at AutoZone.

X2. Parts store is your best bet. Rebuilt is fine.

Re: Front Disc Brake Hub question...
The hub /rotor assembly is expensive brand new. I got one from Ed the Ford parts guy for $20 and it had a good rotor on it. All of the hub assemblies through the early 90's have the same part numbers when I checked. Just went through this last fall. New the assemblies were north of $100. Hope that helps. Obviously new is just simple. :)
