What size conduit to garage for 100amp service?
What size conduit do I need to run to make it relatively easy to pull 100amp service wiring through? Figuring 2" with two 90 degree sweepers. May not pull the wiring until next year when I redo my garage but have construction crew digging up the yard and wanting to lay the conduit now.
Also heard I can't run other wiring in the same conduit as the service line so probably should run another 1 1/4 line as well for lights and anything else I want to control from the house?

I'd suggest running a separate conduit for speaker wires so you can have outdoor speakers with no interference. May as well while you can...

I don't know the answer. It has to do with the % of the conduit filled by the line. I did direct burial cable to my garage, no conduit.

My buddy had this to say on the conduit for the 100amp.
It depends on the wire size. I suggest an 1-1/4" SCH 40 PVC.

Go with 2in. It's overkill but will make pulling the wires in easy. And an 1 1/4 for lighting and such will be more than enough.

Re: What size conduit to garage for 100amp service?
I just buried the power out to my garage a month ago and the electrician did 1-1/4" because I told him I wanted 220v out there someday. And then I ran an extra 1-1/4" for other stuff: coax, sprinkler wire, whatever...
