Wiring harness
Had a carb fire and now need to do some upgrades. Looking for advice on what others have used for wiring harness . Also upgrading my carb thoughts on holly vs. edelbrock?

Re: Wiring harness
I used the Centech BR-10 kit when I did mine. Pretty straight forward job. I did solder all the splices as well as shrink wrapping them. Took longer but more piece of mind for me. Carbs are subjective but I'm partial to Edelbrocks. With a few mods they work great offroad. Mark.

Re: Wiring harness
Centech on mine. Very happy with it. Buy the tool for the weatherpak connectors. Re carbs, I'd suggest a quadrajet.

Re: Wiring harness
I used American Autowire Harness and have been happy with that. X2 on getting the correct crimpers to do the weatherpak connections.
I also suggest considering EFI but I have a barely used Holley Truck Avenger 670 carb for sale if you are interested. It did very well on steep inclines and declines in Moab before I switched to EFI. I had fought vaporlock through two different engines and carb set-ups which is why I had decided to switch to EFI.

Re: Wiring harness
We just finished a Painless on mine a couple weeks ago. And by "we", I mean ViperWolfe did the work and I held the flashlight. But I was EXTREMELY impressed with the quality of the harness, loom, connectors and instruction manual. I think Painless just did a complete make-over on their Bronco harness and it's all factory plugs, etc. and ViperWolfe had some serious input in the design. I would highly recommend this harness.
