Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
This thing has been leaking oil at rear main and sucking oil into cylinders.
plugs are oily, and oil getting into almost all intake runners, especially # 8 and # 4.
So Phil made a nice baffle for the underside of the intake to try to get it under control.
Replaced rear main too.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Put in new (to me) seats. Since I knew the Bronco would be down for a bit, I took the opportunity to freshen up the seats without disrupting my daddy/pickup duties. When I got the truck, it had no back seat and Dodge Durango front seats. The 6-way power seat was nice...but the seats were just not my style. And I bought a used back off of CL and it was just good enough to put the kids' seats in it. I got OEM fronts from a guy who, in addition to a classic Bronco, had a couple Porsches and an NSX (are you on here?). I bought the pearl white covers and white armrests from Tom's and handed it all over to my upholstery guy at work. And I had some white door panels that came with the truck... Before and after rear: Before and after of the OEM fronts: Tried to get a side-by-side with the Durango fronts: The door panels that came with the truck: Then I'll call this the "finished" product....but there'll be more to come:

The last 48 hours has been one of the biggest storms I've seen in 22 years in Gunnison. Probably 2.5'. Another similar storm is forecast for early next week too.

Pneumatic sheers cut that sheet metal like butter.... won't even scuff the paint.
Can't cut the back and not the front. Go big or go home!
