Rob - The HP pump is located just below the brake master cylinder. I could move it back easy enough, but I worry about stressing the HP pump as even the OEM setup was an LP in the tank and an HP on the frame rail.
I know I need a new fuel pump relay. Oddly enough, I found a youtube of a guy who had fuel problems on his 87 F-150. Turned out the relay had fallen out of it's holder and was lying horizontally. Once he put it back into it's holder, the truck fired right up. I experienced the same thing in Moab in 2012. So why the heck would these relays care which way they are oriented?
I have a spare in my ammo can that I take with me, but a gallon jug of gear oil ruptured and soaked that relay in oil. I don't recall if I tested it or not.
Jesus_man wrote:I do not. I may ask my dad if he can find any on the relay.
