Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2) Ordered an intank kit for the fuel pump from sunset fab. Will have to order a pump and a hydramat sock for it. Plan to weld in the shock hoops this weekend and measure again for shocks. Get that order out to bilstein. Then pull the radiator and balancer and get that all re done again.

What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2) This project took a lot longer than I was hoping. Improvisation was my word of the day. Now all I have to do is box the frame and where my new to me snow plow mounts up. Like usual I'm sure it will turn into a bigger list. But no more ugly farmers bumper.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2) I installed the wiring for the trailer I bought from Digger. I still need to figure out a power wire to run the trailer battery and refrigerator. Would like to figure a way to run switched power so if I forget to disconnect for a long period of time it won't drain my battery.

Here are a couple examples of automatic relays I was talking about: Blue Sea Systems 7611:  Sure Power 1315A  Cole Hersee 48530  WirthCo 20092  Of course you can wire in a standard 30amp relay as well and drive it off an ignition feed. Here is a diagram for a dual battery setup. In this case, the 2nd battery is on the trailer with its own fuse already. You would fuse at 20-30 amps and wire with 12ga.  _________________ Cummins R2.8 diesel, ZF5, AtlasII, HP44/BB9, ARBs, coiled / linked suspension, 37" KO2s, full cage, bumpers, etc. Build Thread: Average 23.5 mpg, Best tank: 25.1 mpg |
