Drop Bracket for Track Bar

Postby mickphatmac » Fri Jul 14, 2017 2:00 pm

Hi guys, and Gals...
Looking to lift the front end 2.5" or 3.5" and I need a drop track bar bracket. Anyone have a used one or a new one the never installed?
Thanks!
Mike

I don't recommend one. Something perhaps to get you going, but a Riser off the axle is far better. The added leverage these drop brackets add to the factory frame ends up opening up the frame like a can-opener.
1973 Bronco, 351 SEFI, Locked, discs, 35's ZF-5spd and Atlas 4spd. 235:1 Crawl Ratio. It may be ugly, but it's slow.

I hadn't thought about the extra frame torque but I'm only running 31s.... on the street....for now!!!
