Explorer 5.0 maf sensor?

any body know if the transfer table on the explorer 97 maf would work with the various maf ecms we use on these swaps? I have an explorer 5.0 with rjm harness and keep getting lean codes.trying to pin point the issue. Would I be better off to get a maf and housing from say a 94-95 mustang? I am currently using the explorer maf and housing with a flange adapter and cone air filter, (going to try to adapt the explorer air box at some point), and a square to oval adapter for the harness to the sensor. Any knowedge outs greatly appreciated.

The transfers are quite different. The 94-95 is very close down low but peels away about halfway through the voltage range....I do know a guy that can program for that 97 MAF. =)
