I don't have a gear banger but I do have the np435 installed and could take measurements and hold a level for a picture. Let me know what you need.cravenbronco wrote:Alright I've got most of it fabricated up except for the linkage that hooks the shifter to the trans and the height of the shifter mount. Is there anyway someone can take a couple of measurements for me ?

That would be great if possible
And the height from floor to shifter knob.
Sorry for the bad drawing
Thank you I sure appreciate it.

Mine is about 11" of the floor but that is because I'm not using a gear banger. It puts it right by my knee today. I think if I was using a gear banger I would probably start with a stick a little taller so that I could cut it down to where I want.cravenbronco wrote:Awesome thank you.
Last one is from floor to shifter knob.

I would make it adjustable. That way you can take any slack/slop out of it as needed. That's my thinking at least.cravenbronco wrote:phyler wrote:Mine is about 11" of the floor but that is because I'm not using a gear banger. It puts it right by my knee today. Sweet now I should be good. I promise i will post it up once I got it all put together and painted. I've got the original shifter that I'm going to chop down or I might just fabricate a new one. I really don't like chopping original parts if I don't need to.
All I have left to fab is the base mount, shifter, shift linkage and drilling some holes. Was thinking about making the shift linkage bars adjustable. Any thoughts on that ?
Looking nice!cravenbronco wrote:All that's left is the base plate.
