Brake pedal for Automatic Transmission
Looking to swap out my Clutch and Brake pedal for the Brake pedal only...
I assume they are different, or can I just remove the Clutch Pedal and have the same thing?
If they're different, I'd rather have the Automatic instead of a chopped version...if ya know what I'm sayin'!?

Re: Brake pedal for Automatic Transmission
You can just pull the clutch pedal and leave the brake pedal. If my memory is right the ‘76 & ‘77 had larger brake pedals, but hard to find.

Re: Brake pedal for Automatic Transmission
I pulled the clutch pedal when I converted mine. I also saved all the clutch linkage parts, bell housing, and flywheel and gave them to one of the members that needed them for a project he was working on. Mark.

Re: Brake pedal for Automatic Transmission
OK Cool! I'll just ditch the clutch pedal then!
Thank You!

Re: Brake pedal for Automatic Transmission
Kirk is correct-- in 76-77 they changed the brake pedal assembly for automatics for the power brakes to a wider pedal-- you'd be looking at close to $200 to buy one online (and I know how cheap you are!!). I don't think it is worth it unless you came across one (I also know you are a craigslist mastermind)!

Re: Brake pedal for Automatic Transmission
Put a spacer in where the clutch pedal comes out.
