Wiper Cover Conversion - Lengthen

Postby rt9 » Tue Jun 19, 2018 6:55 pm

Hi guys - I am in the process of doing a custom modification on my bronco and need some measurements.

I have a 66-67 windshield frame and a few years ago converted to the later model motor and linkage. I lengthen the long arm 4 inches to work with the longer pivot spacing.
I want to make a cover for the linkage and motor / Guillotine by splicing two covers together.

However, I need some measurements as to where a standard cover mounts on a later model windshield frame. My frame doesn't have mounting holes. The covers each have 2 mounting holes on the lower edge. Can someone measure from the edge of the windshield frame to these holes? or from another reference point?

Does the visor "hump" normally reside at approx. the center of the windshield? Looks like it, but I want to make sure before I start cutting.

Thanks!
