Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
I just feel like I have been chasing my tail here. Time redoing things on the 1/2 cab when I should of been working on my first Bronco. At this point all I want to do is change the oil. If didn't enjoy driving my Broncos so much I would lock the shop and find something else to do. But everything else I enjoy I need that damm Bronco!!

Haven't done it yet but will be installing my Viperwolf built power steering box. It's so good looking I almost just want to sit and stare at it. Thanks Phil! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

I love learning to weld and the feeling of replacing rust with new steel!!
Thanks, Dad, for the welder and some adjustment instructions!

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
I got mine out yesterday for a run around town. Man, it's been too long and I forgot how fun it is! Need to run it around more as my trail MPG's are miserable!
I'm contemplating putting the back seat back in so both kids can go!

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Worked on the Bronc from 6am to 1 am...well, and took the Bronco West w/ the kids for a hike.
Rebuilt (6 ujoints & 2 Cardan centering-pins) & got both driveshafts in, tested out 4WD for the first time as I’d never yet had a front shaft ...NOTE TO SELF: get new exhaust before wheeling, ft. Driveshaft rubs on ol’ curmudgeon rusty pipes!
Cut out the lower passenger floor pan, which ya coulda thrown a football through had ya the whim.
Tried out a spot weld cutter for the first time, works pretty dang well! Also tested out Permatex ‘Rust Treatment’ on some light surface rust that’s extremely hard to get to without a sand blaster. Hopefully it works long-term (feedback?) I used it on the A-pillar sheet metal seam because, fortunately, the A-pillars are still perfectly rigid...and on some rocker seams.
Finished welding in the majority of my upper cowl patch replacement by the windshield frame.
This bodywork stuff, I gotta say, is pretty damn addictive!!

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
No pic but I performed "scuffing Saturday". Scuffed all the epoxy primer and cleaned it in prep for high build and paint. Too bad I fly for work tomorrow morning and then camping next weekend. Maybe I can paint it in two weeks.
Also drove it around the block and the rebuilt power steering feels amazing. Thanks Phil!

I got the windshield frame replaced. And changed the oil and filter. Now waiting for a new ignition switch and wiper switch to be delivered.

Took the manual steering gear out and replaced it with a 4x4x2 PS Gear and saw these... Any guesses? My ‘72 had one of these in it also! What are the odds?
