Match the rpms to the bpm and you won't notice! Ha!
That is a strange one! Does the radio manf. have any input?

Nice. Glad to see you're finally getting around to it. I'm curious to see what you're going to do with the bumper. I'm not so curious about the knee chair you're sporting.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Did it yesterday but cleaned the rear diff to try and determine if my pinion seal was leaking and found that a few of the nuts for the pumpkin were loose. Tightened them up and no more leak. Added some fluid to top it off and drove it in a birthday parade today and still no leak. Super stoked about fixing this one.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Cleaned and painted the ZF. Too bad it won't go in for quite awhile. I need to change out the axle gears before I can do it. Figure it will be winter when I do so getting it painted while it was warm seemed like a good idea. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Drove it to work today after a few weeks of putting in a new radiator, trans cooler, and power steering cooler.
I installed the Bronco hut HD radiator. That required lowering the lower mounts. And as we all know the core support is very flimsy. I ended up building a brace that bolted into the core support and added a lot of strength. The HD radiator is about 3" taller. and a bit thicker. I had to cut and widen the 4 core saddle mounts. Locating a fan shroud that was taller was difficult. I found that the TBP 1-2" body lift metal fan shroud they sell is the correct height. But the fan hole is a bit large. I had to add to the shroud to shrink down the opening size. I will have to pull the fan and shroud back out for some more work in the near future as its not deep enough.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Replaced the alternator. I’ve been chasing a “dying” battery for a while now. Seems I would charge it, drive a few places, Bronco would sit for a couple weeks and the battery would be drained when I go to start it again.
The last few days I’ve been driving it a bit around town and I’m actually shocked it didn’t die sooner. Noticed today that the volts were at 11.1 on my way home from picking up some hard to find Eagle Rare bourbon.
I took it in to Oreilly and they tested it, and it failed immediately. So in goes the new one with a lifetime warranty.

I've read the same thing. High amp draw items should come off the top posts only.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
I've resorted to disconnecting the negative side of the battery for my bronco while it's in storage. Even 2 weeks is plenty of time for a parasitic drain to kill a battery.

What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Been race prepping with a few new goodies on the racer, we plan to run a couple of races this summer in Nevada and will be running at night so added some help up top.

Got any specs? Are the spot & driving combo's or did you run some dedicated spots and some driving?

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
It's been a while, but I finally get to post something!!!!!!!
The old gas in the Broncos was stinking up the new shop so bad I had to drain the tanks.
There wasn't much in the 74.
The 72 hasn't been run in probably 10+ years. The aux tank was almost empty, but there was probably 3-4 gallons in the main tank.
This is what came out:
