Non-beadlock wheels with sacrificial rock ring?
Anyone make wheels that mount up as a standard wheel, but have a replaceable rock ring on the outside? I've wanted to move up from my 15's to 17's for a long time. And beadlock wheels are just expensive, and then you add on 37's to that and it's just been more than I can swing. But, I learned about a company formed as one of the engineers from Staun brached off to make a better product, but similar. https://www.coyoteents.com/Currently the price of 4 internal beadlocks is $665, or $167/wheel, and standard 17" wheels are far more affordable than beadlocks so this makes my goal more achievable. But I like to keep my wheels nice, so looking for a wheel where the outer lip can be replaced when I damage it. Any ideas?

These Teraflex Nomads look like they'd fill the bill, but don't seem to come in 5x5.5" pattern, but quite a lot of other sizes. https://teraflex.com/nomad-off-road-whe ... -each.html

Not a bad looking wheel either. I will reach out and see if they have plans for a 5 on 5.5.

Just found that www.dirtylifewheels.com also has some options.

Re: Non-beadlock wheels with sacrificial rock ring?
Here's where I ended up. Scored a deal locally on some 17" Pro-comp Beadlocks. 35" tires are near new as well, but made in 2010 so I probably can't get a lot out of those to put towards 37's. And I fear I may need some spacers for these as they are 4.5" B.S., but they were never off road.

Sweet! Do you plan to be on 37's for this summer?

Man, I don't know...depends on if I can sell the tires and dedicate some time to trimming the body. And if I can score a good deal on said 37's.
I know my current setup is worth some dough too, but it'll just depend on timing.
