Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
I am not able to Log-in to CCB.com on my work computer with MS Explorer. This is strange because I can log-in at home using MS Explorer as well as my Blackberry. Instead of getting frustrated, I downloaded Firefox on my work computer and issue completely resolved and have no issues since ever since. I can even be logged in on all 3 simutaneously.
Yesterday, another CCB Member is going through the very same Log-in issue. The member cannot Log-in on MS Explorer but can on his Smart Phone and Firefox. So now it is not an isolated incident and wondering if anyone had any ideas since I am not an I/T Guy.
Any ideas or anyone else having similar issue?

Re: Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
Sorry - was able to use MS Explorer at work for 2 months just fine then it stopped working. Same situation with CCB Member - been logging in and using the Forum with MS Explorer for a couple months then stopped working this week.

Re: Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
One more reason to dump IE. The issue is that it holds onto the session unless you manually log out each time you exit the forum. I've had it happen before also. Clearing all cookies, history, and temp files solved it. You can also try adding coloradoclassicbroncos.com to the trusted sites in IE. I believe it's under Tools>Internet Options>Security. Also, issue resolved itself by doing the windows updates available for IE8.

Re: Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
I've only had this issue on 2 forums. Both are the same style forum.

Re: Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
I've had a similar issue on CB.com using Firefox. repeated attempts to log in to the site with the same result, a log in screen. Eventually, frustrated with the process, I simply decided to view the forums as a Guest. Turns out when I opened a forum, the login showed me as being signed in.
So, might try selecting a forum to view if you are having the trouble and then returning to the main page to see if you are actually logged in.

Exactly.....that's what I meant by holding onto the session.

Re: Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
If anyone comes up with some good solutions to this issue, post em up. We have two more members having trouble logging in. ManTruck and GSlack are out in the cold right now. Figuratively, not literally. I think.

Re: Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
I used ManTruck's login in FireFox and got right in so he can come in out of the cold by downloading and using FireFox.

Re: Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
ManTruck is out of town at the moment. Should be back in a few days. Haven't heard from Gslack in about two days now. I'll let them know to try again.

Re: Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
Did you do an update in the last 2 weeks or so when all this started?
Zack, tell them to delete their cookies and passwords. It has worked for me multiple times now.
Chad, it's on his computer. I could log in using all other computers.

Re: Explorer vs. Firefox Log-In Issue
Will do. I'll try and keep track to see if maybe it's a windows update or something also.

Not sure it matters, but Chrome has been working beautifully, as has Dolphin (a great browser for Android.)
