Need a 351 M/400
I need a good 351m/400 Grumpy had an allergic reaction to a valve spring and I think it broke the valve seat. I hope someone on here may know where I could find one. I found 2 at Pull n Save, one was sludged up and the other looked clean but the Valve covers have been off and their new prices today make me want to look around for a better option.

Re: Need a 351 M/400
Wish I would have hung on to that one I had a few months ago now. Just sat in my garage waiting for me to build a 351C 2v headed stroker out of it. Wound up giving it away. Sorry. Check CL auto parts sections. I usually see 1-2 of the 73-79s being parted out a month. Odds are you can pick one up through there for a reasonable price.

Ive checked a couple of times and found nothing so far, but I did not check for trucks being parted out. guess I will do that next. Maybe I will just have the head fixed (if it is the valve seat as I suspect)
