Post Home/Property west of Colorado Springs
So, the wife and I have made the decision to put our house up on the market in February. Interest rates being what they are, its too good a time to buy to not take advantage. And we're just now seeing some value headed back in to our neighborhood to insure we are not going to take a bath on our current mortgage.

With all of that in mind, we're on the hunt for our next home and we're looking west of Colorado Springs. Optimally, we'd like to stay east of Divide and within an hour of the Springs. Existing homes are preferred, but if you know a good deal on some land (5+ acres preferred), we're willing to consider that as well. Also, we might consider something south of the Springs, along the west side of 115, but no further south than say Turkey Creek.

Keep your eyes peeled for any FSBOs, short sales, and foreclosures that may be out there. Any tips or leads appreciated. We've signed on with a pretty good realtor and think he will be able to find us a good place, and get us out of our current one. Just trying to be a little creative in the search for the new spot.
