Use of a deck-over trailer 20ft+
I am trying to find a good deal on a shipping container to store my bronco in while in Germany. I think I found a deal, but the container will be in Denver and I need it in Monte Vista. So I am looking for a 20ft + deck-over trailer to rent from someone. The container weighs no more than 5500lbs. I can only bumper pull with my truck, but I have access to trucks that have gooseneck capabilities. Ramps would be a plus, but not critical. My plan would be to run some 2x4's the length of your trailer bed to prevent any damage. These will be screwed down and removed. I'll also protect your ramps in a similar fashion in case we have to drag this container off your trailer. I do have access to a forklift at the drop-off site, but the forks aren't wide enough to pickup the whole container.
Option B if someone has the truck and trailer and some spare time, I'd be happy to hire you to do the job. I don't know a specific location of pickup yet, but Monte Vista is a solid 4hrs from Denver taking your time.
Just seeing what I can come up with. Any ideas welcome! Thanks!
J.D.
