I have a work trip coming up. I'll be out of town for a bit and our current accommodations aren't exactly spacious (1 car garage, apartment complex). The place isn't all up in my butt about having three vehicles here or anything like that, but I'd rather not have the Bronco sitting in a parking lot for the duration of my trip. Especially with the Super Duty parked right next to it. Area 51 is packed full of other rides at the moment so that plan is out the window. And I don't think we are going to close on a house in time for me to have a garage to park in.

All of that being said, I'm looking for a parking spot! Anyone out there in Bronco land happen to have a warm, cozy place that is just begging for someone's Bronco to occupy? I know, fat chance, right? Obviously I would prefer something climate controlled, relatively free of potential wire munching rodents, and spacious so as not to encroach on your own daily happenings.

Compensation is an option. Lemme know if you have something!

Problem might be solved! Well, sort of. We just put an offer in on a house tonight. Should have plenty of room to park the Bronco considering it is sitting on 1.48 acres.

2 car garage at the moment, but plenty of room for the GarageMahal.

Problem solved. Once the appraisal is in and all inspection objections are settled, I'm clear to turn the side yard in to a parking lot.

Details: 3600 sq ft, with about 2800 of that finished. 5 (really 4) bedrooms, two fireplaces (one in the master). 2 car attached. 1969 construction (the older charm we were hoping for). Huge basement rec room. Mature trees (at least three of the spruces in the front yard are 25'+). And 1.48 acres. We'll be less than 2 minutes from REI, Home Depot, or I-25. District 20 schools. And still about 10 minutes from Kinder Castle's daycare.

So, been to crave burger yet? I have a hankerin for what I remember was the New Mexico.

HOAs can't be too bad. A good 50% of the properties in the neighborhood have detached, huge garage/shops. And yes, we pretty much own two intersections. Most of the people in the area have been there for 20+ years. Houses don't come up often there, so we certainly lucked out. We were actually about to put an offer in on a place in Woodland Park, but decided to hold off a week to see if anything else popped up. This one went on the market last Friday. We were the first and only showing before we out in our offer.

And a bonus is its a Bronco neighborhood! There are maybe 40 houses and I will be the third Bronco owner. One of them is at that southwest intersection, opposite side of the road.

Have yet to venture in to that burger place. Hard to talk me out of Culvers when I'm craving a burger.
