I'm working on a mod for a Facebook "like" for threads, pictures, etc.
Also, trying to make some time to look into a front page calendar that is functional and informative.

I did quite a bit of digging on the phpbb site to see if a calendar mod was available. Unfortunately the last time one was developed or posted was back in 09 or so. Might be a good reason to bump over to vBulletin, if they offer that.

Could we do something as simple as creating a google calendar visible to all with a link on CCB?

I don't see why not. Once upon a time we were using a google calendar and then planned to set it up to send all users reminders of events. But with so many of us working full time and wrenching part time, it fell by the way side.

I really like this idea as approved participants (however defined) can subscribe to the calendar which will feed it into the calendars on their smart phones, etc
It would have the added benefit of automatic reminders (pop-ups and / or emails).

Anyone with a gmail account can now access the Colorado Classic Broncos Google Calendar page. Simply open Google Calendars, click on "Other Calendars" on the left side, and search for coloradoclassicbroncos@gmail.
I'll keep looking to see if it is possible for non-gmail users to access it.
Please feel free to test the system out, but add the word "test" to any fictional events you create. Thanks!
