Well, last weekend the bronco made it to the iconic “First Camp Spot” for all the McMahan Broncos… STORM MOUNTAIN!!! Sadly the trail to the top was still closed but it hauled the camper both ways without any issues! But for our next trick… It’s going to Super Celebration West!!!! (On a trailer unfortunately…) But as long as I can cruise it around down in Buena Vista I wanna say I’ll be satisfied.

Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I’ve been sorting a few things out between vehicles. Last week the starter solenoid welded itself together trying to start and in turn toasted the battery cable, starter and solenoid. Thank goodness for the fire extinguisher behind the seat!! Bought a new battery cable and solenoid but thanks to Steve, I had an extra starter, so it’s back on the road!!

Yikes, that is scary! Something everyone of us should carry is a fire extinguisher!
1973 Bronco, 351 SEFI, Locked, discs, 35's ZF-5spd and Atlas 4spd. 235:1 Crawl Ratio. It may be ugly, but it's slow.

Wow, happy it’s just a few burnt components. We carry an extinguisher in everything!

I’m glad I was close too!! Was trying to start it and pulled the key to let it cool down for a minute but it kept cranking!! By the time I had the battery cable off it was lit up!!

Checking out some parts prices today and saw your Bronco on the Wildhorses website, great match with the scratch & dent. Did you ever sell it?
