New Guy
Hey all, just joined and thought I'd introduce myself and say hi. Colorado native and currently Bronco-less which I'm looking to correct as soon as possible :D Of course now that I finally have a decent amount to pick one up the CL ads seem to have suddenly dried up.
I've been crawling the CB forums learning as much as I can so I can have a better idea of what to look for in purchasing my first Bronco. If anyone has any advice (i'm sure you all do :)) about what things to look out for in the CL ads and whatnot it'd be much appreciated.
Look forward to seeing you all around and hopefully meeting some of you!

Re: New Guy
Howdy and welcome! My only piece of advice on Craigslist is this....anything worthwhile is grabbed up within a few hours to a day of when it's posted so you need to be vigilant and check the ads hourly each day.
Good luck with the search!

Re: New Guy
Yeah I've been checking them hourly for a while now and at least daily for months before that. Since they get snatched up so quick is it best to just have cash in hand when you go look?

Re: New Guy
And the best tool for you to employ in your hunt for a Bronco is...another Bronco owner. If you've never owned one of these before, you're going to want that set of experienced eyes there with you. The kind of guy who knows every inch of his truck to find all the flaws in your possible one.
Where abouts are you located?

Re: New Guy
Welcome! As others have said, if one interests you, jump on it right away. You may not need a pile of cash on hand, but people will generally hold it for $500+ depending on what price range you are looking in. Also agree that it wouldn't hurt to have another set of eyes to look at it with you.

Welcome! Curious to see what you turn up. I'd be happy to take a look at anything up north (Frederick, Erie, Longmont Boulder, etc.) with you.

Re: New Guy
Excited that you found the club. I really enjoyed looking for my Bronco and talking to owners. I realized real quick that people views are different. Ads that said perfect were alway far from perfect. Hopefully you can find a Bronco this summer and enjoy the hiking and backpacking. Thanks for the intro and let us know if we can go look at Broncos with ya.

I also have a pretty sweet 1984 1/2 ton 4x4 long bed Chevy pick up for sale. 134th & Holly, Marshall Lake subdivision.
