My finished 77 Bronco project

Postby 77Bronco » Wed Mar 19, 2014 11:35 pm

Used a 97 explorer to gut and transplant the engine and transmission to my 77 Bronco. Upgrading a few items e.i. sanderson headers, an aluminum radiator, rebuilding the transmission, new cam, oil pan, Sherman gas tank just to name a few.

What a fun project this was. Still looking at changing and upgrading a few things but will have to wait due to the lack of funds of course! Don't we all run into that problem at some point?! Ha! I hope you enjoy some of these pictures.

Looks great. How do you like the explorer setup? I see you used the coil pack setup.

Turned out really nice. Love the color too - Any chance that is Ragoon Red?

Honestly I don't remember what color it is. The guy I bought it from didn't know much about her.

Doing research, we found that we encountered so many different things other than what they said to watch out for. I really am impressed with the set though. She runs great. Still in the process of finding out what the MPG will be. I haven't been able to drive her much but I will be soon!
