Colorado Springs EB here
Hey everyone, my name is Corey and this is my 75' bronco, i've had it for about 4 years now, it was at one point a very nice truck that my father and myself had built for a friend, and shorlty there after he wrecked it, he rolled 3 times at 75mph, bought another truck and had us swap the body tubs and frames, and i ended up with the rolled body tub and the new chassis he had purchased for the body, its no pretty now, but i love it and have done quite a bit to it so far, it has a carb'd 302 thats not impressive with a holley i recently put on it, a N.P. 435 i rebuilt for it, dana 20 with twin sticks, i put a 3g altenator on it, a saginaw pump and 4x4x2 steering box, wh power brakes, fw axles from a 79 i put under it, 3.5" very old duff lift, a 2" BL, and some worn out 33's till i can afford some new 35's, its currently my daily driver so i can only do so much at a time, i've met a few guys that are on here before, and i look forward to meeting the rest of you, i can't make it to the meeting 2 morrow as i have to work, but the next one for sure! here's some pics
The last one is of the last meet i was at in bear creek park just a couple months ago

Re: Colorado Springs EB here
thank you for the compliments, naw its about a ten year old duff 3.5" lift, and 2" blocks in the back, and the fullwidth axles give it a little more leverage to flex, soon i'll be putting wildhorses 5.5" or 4.5" rear springs and i just got some wild horses 4.5" front coils, and i'd like to get some duff radius arms as well, with all that and the dom heim steering im saving up for it will be twice as flexable

Great looking Bronco. We definitely have a diverse group - trail rides, rock crawlers, and pavement only trucks. We don't even have 2 trucks the same color! Welcome to the group - excited to have you join. Hope to meet you at an event.

Welcome to CCB Corey, it looks like you have come a long way with that Bronco. I really like that green interior paint and your lock out hub swingout.

Re: Colorado Springs EB here
Looking good man. Don't worry about that body. Paint and shiny stuff does little for you on the trail, other than make you cry when you scratch or dent it.
Let me know before you buy your steel. I'm trying to draw up some plans for a front and rear bumper some time soon. Be interested to see if we can get a lower price for a larger order. Who you planning to go through?

Corey, did you do the hub yourself or did you buy it? I know Don had a hub that he had milled to do that & I have thought about it several times. If you made it, was it tough?

Re: Colorado Springs EB here
the handling is ten times better, i can rail some pretty serious corners at 50-60, not that i recommend doing it :), and ya i gary i did it myself, if you wanna build one i've got the stuff to build it, i just torched off the wms on the hub and used a big grinder to knock down the majority of the slag, and a flap wheel to clean it up nice, and ya jeff it can go alot of places, im still saving for lockers and my extended radius arms and i've got most of my efi parts, i just need to get my cam, fuel lines, pump, tank, and computer and 1 sensor, i've got everything else, can't wait

Re: Colorado Springs EB here
Been real happy with my Lock Right in the front. It's not there unless you are in 4WD. It'd be awesome to have some sort of selectable in the rear since you DD yours. Had a detroit in an F-150 and while it's a great locker, it's street manners were less than desirable. And you'll chew up those new tires. I would stay away from ARB due to constant air leak issues, especially in the winter. Either an E-locker or an OX if they make one for a 9". But I am guess you know what you're looking for already. I could also ask the TX club I belonged to and see what someone has if you want??

Re: Colorado Springs EB here
Our trucks are kind of similar. I'm running a 13 year old 3.5" J/D lift, no body lift, NP435, D20. I'm only on 33s. I'll be on f/w 79 axles soon.
I've run a rear Detroit for 14 years and don't mind it. My BFG AT's always chirped around corners, but now I'm on some Toyo Open Country AT's and they don't chirp at all. I'll loose my locker when I switch to full widths, my D/L is too old to swap to 31 spline axles. I'd don't hear too much too bad about ARB, but I'll probably use another D/L. There is no OX for the 9", may not be an e-locker either, don't quote me on that.
I drive my truck around town in the winter & will only lock my front end with a selectable locker, probably OX. But that will wait.
Chad

Re: Colorado Springs EB here
ya pretty close to the same, but now im running 4.5" wildhorses coils in the front and 5.5" wildhorses leafs in the rear, i'll be buying the bc broncos extended arms, i love the caster adjustability, and many other points, and i'll be either running detroits front and rear, or detroit front, tru-trac in the rear

Colorado Springs EB here
Started building a custom center console, still have a lot to do, have to build the armrest portion still, add some skins, buy cup holders to work in, figure out the layout for the radio, hvac controls, volt gauge, and build the storage compartment. The welds aren't my best by any means as I'm using a crappy 110v craftsman flux core welder, but hell the welder was free, can't beat that
