I thought the iPad was a very cool idea but did not for $500+. For some reason, I cannot get the new iPad 2 outta my head. New processor, better graphics, double cameras, HD Camcorder, LED Display, 10 Hour display, aluminum case, and the new cover is amazing.

My wife watched it 3 times - she is not a techie and thinks it is amazing too. It is just so freakin' cool!!

I'm looking at this new version as well, might take the plunge into the ebook world for this upcoming trip.

I can see that being the perfect companion for vacations, flights, trips, Email, internet, iTunes, books, games, calendar, organizer, 1 Year Tour in Iraq, etc.

Comes out March 11th so good timing Kinder. If they ship on the 11th, they would likely arrive on Monday. I like the engraving on the back. Did that on all of my iPods and definitely sets them apart. On my wife's iPod, I wrote - "I love ya like a fat kid loves cake" and I put a line from The Soprano's and The Godfather on mine.

I recently picked up a Galaxy Tablet (Android OS Samsung tablet) and have been really happy with it. I don't love Apple products and didn't want to be locked into the iTunes universe so this was a good fit and a good deal at Costco. Its a little smaller and fits into a (big) pocket. I've pretty much quit reading paper books and while I prefer them, the convenience is really nice. I now do about half my web surfing on it and my son plays games. I can't recommend something like this highly enough.

My confession....I have been anti-Apple since the 80s.....that is until the iPhone 4 came out. The iPad 2 is just simply sweet. I still don't like the fact they don't allow Flash and other technologies.....but their hardware and interfaces are just cool.

My wife has the first gen iPad and it awesome!! This one looks even better! My wife has just about everything Apple besides her new phone...it is the Galaxy S as T-mobile does not carry the iPhone. If they did she would have it. All their interfaces and operations are just great!

I made my wife very happy tonight. Best Buy at Colorado Mills got about 100 iPads. This made up for making her wait at Christmas time for the new version. Damn they are sexy!

I am SOOOO surprised how much fun the iPad is - my daughter is watching a Disney movie on NetFlix right now. My wife is reading a book, and I checked out this site on it. Very cool. I went to Best Buy today to see if I could get one for Kinder, they did not have what I was looking for but, they had three 32 GB Verizon in Black and a 32 GB White WiFi.

Crap, I bought mine from a CL ad. Had to meet them at a nail salon in the shady part of town. Had to pay 50 bucks premium.

Oh well

They are available at Best Buy, WalMart, and Target, in addition to the Apple Store. Not sure if all BEst Buys are magic, but the Denver West / Colorado Mills Best Buy seems to be getting quite a few of them. You can put a $100.00 Deposit down and they will get what you want in about a week. Tons of accessories like the new cool covers.

Finally got an order in, but I probably won't see it for months, lol.

The android pads look to be allot more usable for less money. If I get a pad, I want to be able to edit and upload photos to the web, apple won't allow that. I like my iphone ok, but it annoys the heck out of me how locked down it is.

This iPad 2 really makes my wait at the gate a lot more productive.

I have thought about dropping my data plan on my wife's Blackberry and using iPad for Email and Web. So much better than a 2" Blackberry screen.
