April Fools karma
So, I'm sitting in the office today, trying very diligently to come up with the ultimate April Fools joke to pull on you guys. I'm thinking "I have to sell my Bronco"; "I just bought another Bronco and it turned out to be a Stroppe"; "I cut off my finger working on my Bronco"; etc.
Deep in thought, I hear the tell tale sound of an incoming text on vibrate. Pick up and phone and see Val has texted me. And I quote, "I cut the frame in half". I pause for a second thinking. Cut the frame in half? Window frame? What's he talking about? I send back my reply, "What?"
"I was cutting some more of the tub and cut the frame in half."
Now, Val just bought a grinder. Actually, a Grinder. Capital G. I'm perfectly content with a 4.5" Harbor Freight job. I dunno how big this one is, but I think I saw a 220V plug and a three phase generator powering it.
Immediately I go in to panic mode. The frame? Oh God. He means the FRAME FRAME! Where in the I*!# are we going to find a new frame?!?! Well, there was that guy on Craigslist with the titled '67 frame, but he wante..... Wait a minute!
"Tell me you're joking. April Fools, right?"
And sure enough it was.
While planning an elaborate April Fools joke, I fell prey to one.
