Last night I head a dream.
A super awesome dream it was!
I dreamed of someday, painting my bronco metallic black, having all black leather interior and carpets (the interior is almost all black as of today), and all the gauges I am going to wire up soon will all be red. But this is where the question of the dream comes in, should I put the bronco decal on the hood? like the bucking bronco from the bronco logo, but with red eyes and flames comin out its nostrils.
and the bronco decal would be a light silver color.
so to sum it up: all black. red gauges. silver bucking bronco. hmm...
crazy...perhaps...

Re: Last night I head a dream.
I'd be tempted to make the decal red to match the gauges.

I like color scheme idea. Sounds like you also received a killer Tattoo design as well. How nice that it came to you in a dream. Helps to know what you are going for early in the build so everything matches at the end. I chose Red Shock Boots without thinking - luckily they match now that I have changed my paint color 10 times lol.

Re: Last night I head a dream.
haha yeah i just finished the interior on black and this week im taking my bronco to trim masters to get the headliner and quarter pannels that will all be black, so itll be black, then when i get welding down illl weld up the body and take it to get painted and what not.
do you have to buy tinted windows or can you get tinted window film? I was thinking about giving the windows a slight black tint.
:P

Re: Last night I head a dream.
If you are looking for a tint, an option you might want to try is talking to Hockeydad. Rather than tinting the windows, he can get them glazed, I think. Tint is built right in to the glass. Never have to worry about that stuff peeling.

Agree with Frank, the glazing option is really nice. The only benefit to tint or other film is safety. I've been in a couple of wrecks where the tint saved me from being cut by flying glass because it kept all the little tiny shards together on the film.

Re: Last night I head a dream.
With film, the glass will stay together when it shatters - somewhat. Most film is not rated for this although there is some that is. Blast rated and huricane rated films are rated for this.
In some parts of the country, film is not leagal for the front windows, this is why most SUV's come from the factory with clear front passenger windows and the rest are tinted. But tinted glass is leagle.
Film scratches, tint does not. Tint is actually in the glass, not applied to it.
And yes, I can get you tinted glass for your rig, or any other as long as it is flat.

Did you ever figure out what the door windows would cost and installed?

Re: Last night I head a dream.
Huh, I had wondered what glazing is in a modern glass context. Cool, thanks!

Re: Last night I head a dream.
What would you charge to have all stock windows on an eb done, or do you need dimensions etc? I don't have that much money right now but I am going to be getting a job for summer and for next year before I go to college and i am throwing about 15-20% of that money towards my bronco so I can get her all good before I go away for school so I won't have to worry about it when I need to be studying.
