Re: I Need one of these.
I'm not stunned. I've had mixed experiences with BC. Mostly Chuck being cranky on the phone when I called to ask questions about a part I had gotten.

Re: I Need one of these.
That thread got a little out of hand. I've had very mixed results from BCB. On one hand, they (Jason) gave me great advice & even suggested I NOT buy new parts from them. On the other hand, their order status updates, response to emails & shipping times are somewhat slow and leave something to be desired. It is their job to satisfy customers, and in my opinion they should respond to emails, phone messages, quickly even if to say they are still checking for your answer. Saying "sorry", even if it isn't your fault, goes a long way to satisfy upset customers, but that is a business attitude that can only be taught from the "top down". If Chuck gets cranky and doesn't like to be bothered, then his employees will feel that is an acceptable response and mimic his "attitude".
If you don't want to answer phone calls during a certain time or don't want to use email, then clearly state so on the web site, and then no one will be disappointed. I've waited days for a response to an emailed question to a gun parts company, only to call and get the answer and order the part within minutes. I think that is unnecessary, and easily avoidable.
All that being said, JBG has given me attitude and bad advice, and slow shipping as well.
