Farewell
I wanted to write a quick note that I have decided to take a position with a company in Phoenix. It is a great opportunity that I cannot pass-up. It has been my pleasure to serve as your Cruise Director over the last year and half. I appreciate the friendship, support, and camaraderie, and will always be proud of what we all built together. It is hard not to reflect on the amazing group of people that have come together to make this club what it is today. I love that it became a Bronco Club - not a Car Show Club, not an Off Road Club, but a Bronco Club. The perfect diverse blend of every possible Bronco from non-running trucks to a Nick's Trix. From Street Queens to Treads Brothers' and narrowed CrawlerCreations. Stock 6-Cylinders to Coby's fire-breathing monster. All coming together to share our passion for Classic Broncos and our personalized individual interpretation of the Classic Bronco. I could never have completed my Bronco without Guys like Viper, ZOSO, Rox Crusher, 76, Punisher, Kinder, Zilla, CrawlerCreations, Brianut, Justin, Booger, Landshark, Hockey, Cope Painting, 777, D&D, Badlands, Wild Horses, and more. Trading parts, experience, referrals, labor, advice, and sharing talents. Coming together for events like the Platte Meet N’ Greets, Send-off Parties, Welcome-Home Parties, Memorial Day Fun Run, Tech Days, and Monthly Breakfasts. Not leave ya hanging, there are a ton of fun things already planned for 2012. This is going to be a fun Summer with the July Breakfast in Fort Collins area, 2nd Colorado Springs Park BBQ, Golden Super Cruises, Ouray Camping Trail Run Trip, Rocky Mountain Rendevouz. This Fall has a ton of fun events as well. Starting with Lori’s (JRE) much anticipated ‘At The Races’ Race Track Event in Byers, CasaDeJohnson BBQ Cookout in Greeley, 3rd Annual Platte Valley Meet N’ Greet in October, Montly Breakfasts, and more. I will still check the board from Arizona. If anyone is in Phoenix, look me up and I will take ya to Alice Cooper's Restaurant This is an amazing group of guys and an amazing club. I will miss you all and wish you all the best of luck in all that you do.

Re: Farewell
Howdy Chad,
I very much appreciate everything you have done for this club and your outlook on what it is. Your efforts and meaningful contributions to our success will certainly be missed !
I just passed on a great opportunity in Phoenix but ultimately decided that "I can't stand the heat so best not get in the kitchen".
I do travel there from time to time and will look you up for sure.
Thanks again and best wishes to you and your family with your new adventure !

Re: Farewell
I'm in the valley of the SUN all the time. I spent 40 years there. Both of our families are still there (wife's there right now).
I'd give you all the secrets of dealing with the heat, but there aren't any. Just go from your air conditioned house in your air conditioned car to your air conditioned office.

Re: Farewell
Chad it's been a great ride. I'm glad to have met you and been able to shoot the sheet with you at the various get togethers over the past yr and a half or so. As with most things in life, we may move on to greener pastures but we leave a piece of ourselves where we were. Your piece is this club and the memories. Take care my friend.

Re: Farewell
Chad,
Good luck with your new job, I hope it is every thing you dream it will be. As I have said many times, good things come to good people and you most certainly are one of the good people. I have been fortunate to have gotten to know you even the little I have. Your participatement has been a major part of this clubs success and you are already missed. Be sure to let us know when you come back for a visit as I will anytime I get to the valley of the sun.
Take care and safe travels.
Greg

Re: Farewell
Thanks everyone. The decision to leave has been a tough one but the way things are working out, it seems to be meant to be. We have the movers scheduled, Bronco shipping scheduled, rental home secured, etc. my family is excited about the Pool and Palm Trees at the new place. Thanks again.

Re: Farewell
Good luck Chad.
Thanks for your help in this club, its a super cool club because of the super cool people. And you are right, the diversity of rigs, is awesome. Sorry we never ended up at the same event. But every time I open my hood and use your hand-me-down prop rod, I'll remember where it came from. And you can know that a little piece of your Bronco is still bouncing around the trials in Colorado.
