Starting a new chapter in my life!
Well I finally decided to make a big jump and get the hell out of flat rate and the auto industry! I start today at John Deere 4 rivers as a hourly heavy equipment tech w/ overtime and a bonus program. Crystal and I have been just making it by and not really going forward for sometime. I'm fed up with just making it and I do believe this is my chance to finally get ahead and stay there :) Just thought I'd share the thought because I'm so excited for the change! Time to dive head first into the world of diesel and hydraulics, plus I get to fabricate for my job again. I know some of diesel and hydraulics but have a lot to learn!

Congrats man. Changing jobs can be very scary, especially when you've been doing the same thing for so long. Happy to hear you are getting out there and taking a chance.
And just think of all the great fab skills you'll soon develop!

Congrats and welcome to the community. I work for Power Equipment as a field tech and could never go to flat rate.

Congrats! A new career path is often as much about the challange as it is the money, but it is always nice to get some of both!
