Post putting on 1" body lift
ON to the next Project.

So I was going to replace the body mount bushings and found all but one of the bolts were broken. I guess that's common from what I've heard

My question is what is the Easiest way to do a body lift ?
How to get the broken bolts out ?
Can one person do it ?
Am I going to have to do any modifications ?

My first body lift EVER

When I did mine I did one side at a time. I used a sawzall to remove the old bolts, bushings and the so forth. When needed I used the good ol BFH with a old bolt to drive through and others that wont budge. Did mine all by myself. I used a floor jack with a 2x4 and jacked up the body just enough to squeeze in the new mounts. Just don't cinch them down till both sides are done. Make sure you put tape on the frame where the mounts are. There are holes and stuff will fall into them. I think I still have something rattling around in my frame from something. Just took me a couple hours to do it.
