Airborne Beer
I drank this stuff a few months ago and as far as beer goes, it's ok. You can drink it from a cool mug: Anyway, there's a story behind it that I didn't even realize. http://www.sj-r.com/article/20110102/News/301029989https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZe2H8nvUAMThis is where it's brewed: http://www.brasserielamborelle.be/I'm headed to Bastogne next week and I am hoping to pickup some beer and helmets, but I hear the helmets aren't always available...

Re: Airborne Beer
Don't miss the museum there in Bastogne. It's full of artifacts from the battle. The memorial outside is very nice too.
In the main square when you first enter downtown (can't miss it. There is a Sherman tank parked at the intersection) there is a nice little local restaurant. I'd be more specific but it has been 6 years since I was there.

Re: Airborne Beer
This sherman tank?
LOL. We were there on a USO tour, but wanted to return to get a more in-depth look. We went to a different museum in another village (name skips my memory), but didn't have time for the one in Bastogne.

Re: Airborne Beer
La Cappadoce was the name of the place. The Googs comes through again.
