"There’s also a new set of turbos with a lighter supper alloy turbine wheel whose lower rotational inertia should improve transient response time, Ford says."
Meaning they're planning to do something about that god awful lag.

Nice. Love the current 3.5l If I wanted a truck payment I'd get a new 150 ecoboost and sell the 7.3.

In a raptor, they are going to have to make it sound nasty in order to maintain a good percentage of their buyers. I mean, there isn't anything that compares to the sound of a nice v8, but I have heard some V6's that rumble pretty good. If it's prius quite - I think a lot of folks will be turned off.

Re: Boys, that EcoBoost is looking pretty good.
I watched a documentary about the Mustang a couple weeks ago and there was a portion on how they designed the 2016 exhaust to still rumble like it had a V8 even if you buy one with the 2.0L turbo charged engine. It was really interesting and the Ford engineers went through hundreds of designs to make it work, so I would hope they would do the same to the Raptor. It sounded great.

Eye candy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUs5KZ2uMgsCan't get a feel for the sound, but what I hear is a little disappointing.
