Chemo Comfort Bags
Morning Gentleman, I spoke to several of you at the meeting this morning about a cause close to my heart and a need for chemo comfort bags. There are so many of us who have been touched in one way or another by cancer and it's effects on those we know and love. I am collecting $25 donations to purchase and fill bags for the Chemo Center at North Colorado Medical Center. Each donation will provide a bag filled with items like a blanket, warm socks, tissues, chap stick, lotion, and simple game books to help the patient relax. All of these bags are being donated in the clubs name. To donate you can PayPal me at http://www.paypal.com and use mjohnson304524@gmail.com. Give what you can. My goal is to raise enough money for 20 bags. I am placing my order on January 30th. Thank you and Bless you all!!! MJ

Re: Chemo Comfort Bags
Yes cancer sucks. You might want to add a couple bags of hot trail mixes. The chemo kills your taste buds. Makes everything taste like metal or card board. I would love to donate to this great cause, but going through this right now with my wife stage 4. But thank you for doing this hopefully it will bring a smile to someone. God Bless

Re: Chemo Comfort Bags
As a note we also have a local club member that has been struggling with cancer and has been doing a lot of chemo. So of you may know Ernie. He was our contact at 4wp for a while. He has been to a johnsons corner breakfast in the past.

Re: Chemo Comfort Bags
ViperWolf and I delivered the Chemo Care Bags today to UCHealth today. It was really satisfying to know that these bags are going to those who are going through a really tough time. Thank you again to all who donated there hard earned money to help fund this cause. I should have a tax receipt soon for all of you.

Re: Chemo Comfort Bags
Zoso - I'm sorry to hear that. I too lost a very dear friend last week to this horrible disease. God Bless the one's going thru Chemo now and praying for their full recovery.
