Re: I think I got a Warn 8274 today - pic
Thanks for adding the info. I couldn't figure that out with the decoder I found.
The Broncohio site says the 767689 indicates the October 65 build date.

Like I just asked another here:
Drive it?
Or trailer it to shows?
Which looks like more fun to you?

You are both correct. I wish I hadn't sold my stock p/s box a few months ago. Who knew.
Is there a disk brake conversion for the D30? All I know is the D44 conversions.

I agree with kirk. I'd put in power disc brakes and power steering, but would keep the original parts for inclusion in a future sale. I'd also try to use as many factory parts as possible - EB power steering box, EB pump and brackets, etc to maintain as much original appearance as possible.

Wait, what? 20150925_190415.jpg 20150925_190350.jpg Now I am just bragging. It was a package deal with a 69. This one is for sale. I'm talking to one member already. I'll post it up with details if we don't work something out. More gooder pics: http://s245.photobucket.com/user/c-w-a/library/68

Wow. If that were an original black paint truck, I'd be jumping in there on the bidding war. Great looking truck though!

Re: I think I got a Warn 8274 today - pic
P code, Medium Green Metallic according to the Broncohio decoder. It was repainted a dark blue green metallic. Its not obvious from the pictures.
I stumbled on 2 of the nicest survivors out there. A friend of the bodyshop was chatting with some guy at the hardware store who mentioned he had 2 Broncos he should get rid of. Its been about 3 weeks since I saw them first. Originally thought I'd flip both, but Molly & I really like the 66 and think it deserves a resto. It might take a couple years to get to it, but I'll regret selling it. I'll never find another like it.
The 69 is a prime LUBR or resto-mod candidate.
