Post Pretty good day in the junkyard!
I went to get a few spare sensors and idle air control valve for my Bronco. I was mostly after the idle air valve as that was acting up on me during the last trip out. I found a pretty much brand new one! Then I was walking around to see if there was anything else I could find for my Bronco or truck. Came across a '97 Explorer with the 5.0 in it. The intakes were still there! I have come across MANY explorers in the yards with the 5.0 but never with the intakes still on it! So I had to grab them of course! Then the junkyard screwed up and only charged me for an upper intake. Good day! Hard to beat $20 for a GT40 upper, GT40 lower intake manifold and throttle body! Going to clean them up and hang on to them.

I went to a different junkyard than the one where the EB was supposedly at. I am not sure if Coberly checked at the junkyard it was supposed to be at. The junkyard I went to deals with the newer model stuff.

Ya its there. By brother used to be a fire fighter for the city of Sheridan, when they could afford a fire dept. They used to go down there a lot on calls. He said the owner of the yard , who used to be a city offical or somthing, was kind of an a$$ about selling it.
