So, I'm sitting in the office today, trying very diligently to come up with the ultimate April Fools joke to pull on you guys. I'm thinking "I have to sell my Bronco"; "I just bought another Bronco and it turned out to be a Stroppe"; "I cut off my finger working on my Bronco"; etc. Deep in thought, I hear the tell tale sound of an incoming text on vibrate. Pick up and phone and see Val has texted me. And I quote, "I cut the frame in half". I pause for a second thinking. Cut the frame in half? Window frame? What's he talking about? I send back my reply, "What?" "I was cutting some more of the tub and cut the frame in half." Now, Val just bought a grinder. Actually, a Grinder. Capital G. I'm perfectly content with a 4.5" Harbor Freight job. I dunno how big this one is, but I think I saw a 220V plug and a three phase generator powering it. Immediately I go in to panic mode. The frame? Oh God. He means the FRAME FRAME! Where in the I*!# are we going to find a new frame?!?! Well, there was that guy on Craigslist with the titled '67 frame, but he wante..... Wait a minute! "Tell me you're joking. April Fools, right?" And sure enough it was. While planning an elaborate April Fools joke, I fell prey to one. |
